Experience the modern baroque city of Ludwigsburg floating on a Segway city tour of a special kind! A tour that is packed with many highlights which the city of Ludwigsburg has to offer.

 

After a brief introduction, you drive from the courtyard directly to the Bärenwiese, the most popular green space in the city. Then we drive towards the Neckar, past the Hungerberg recreational area. Where there was a quarry a few years ago, the green area extends today.

 

From the Hungerberg, the Segways finally lead us along the Favorite Park. This imposing wildlife park has been a nature reserve since 1937. Duke Eberhard Ludwig had the Favorite hunting and pleasure palace built in 1717. Nowadays the Favorite Park is only used as a popular excursion destination and local recreation area. And if you are lucky, you can even see one or the other animal inhabitant of the park.

 

We continue the Tour and past the Residenzschloss, one of the largest baroque palace complexes in Germany, via the Holzmarkt and the market square back to our starting point in the courtyard.
